Shipping and Delivery

In addition to New Zealand, we are delighted to offer shipping to a number of countries around the world.

Some countries have special regulations relating to the importation of honey and other bee products, including volume limits. Anyone ordering products for delivery acknowledges that they have reviewed the contents of their order and confirmed that it contains items approved for import into the destination country.

The buyer accepts full responsibility and any associated risk if an item, package, or part of a package is detained by customs for any reason. The buyer also acknowledges and agrees that Arataki Honey will not be held liable for orders that cannot be delivered due to import regulations.

Deliveries within New Zealand

We use New Zealand Couriers for deliveries within New Zealand.

Delivery typically takes 1–5 working days nationwide.

We offer a flat-rate nationwide delivery charge of $12.

From time to time, we may offer free-shipping or free-shipping-threshold promotions. These apply only to deliveries within New Zealand using our standard courier service.

International deliveries

We use DHL Express International for international deliveries. The delivery target is 4–10 working days.

International shipping costs are determined by the total weight of your order and its destination. To calculate the shipping cost, proceed through checkout and enter the delivery address. You will be able to view the total shipping cost before making payment.

Any import duties or taxes levied by authorities in the destination country are the buyer’s responsibility. We recommend checking the destination country’s import regulations before ordering.

You must provide a valid email address and phone number when placing your order so DHL can contact you if your package is held at the border. Customs clearance may delay delivery. Although we do our best to have packages delivered as quickly as possible, customs delays are outside our control. By confirming payment for your order, you accept responsibility for any duties, taxes or customs fees that may be incurred. These charges are additional to the amount paid to Arataki Honey and may be collected when your order is delivered.

Unfortunately, we cannot confirm the exact amount you may be charged. Please contact the relevant government or customs authority in the destination country for further information.

Refusal to pay applicable duties, taxes or customs fees may result in the parcel being returned. If products are returned for this reason, we cannot refund the order.
