Welcome to Arataki Honey

Arataki Honey Ltd, one of the largest integrated beekeeping enterprises in the Southern Hemisphere, operates over 20,000 hives spread across a large proportion of New Zealand’s North Island and southern South Island.

Established towards the end of World War II, Arataki Honey is a family-owned business that has been managed by successive generations of the Berry family.

Arataki Honey is now run through two divisions - one based in Havelock North and the other at Waiotapu near Rotorua. Each division has its own website, and links to them are on the right. Some areas of activity are common to both divisions, while each division also has different specialist areas of activity.
